My 2023 Home Binder

One of my main goals for this year is to be more organized, and I decided to fully employ a home management system. I’ve been bullet journaling and using diaries/planners to plan my life, my day, etc, and having different files for all the categories of my life was becoming messy and I was failing to track it all. So I’ve come to realize that grouping my planners into one is what will work for me. A home management binder system is what I need and I’d like to invite you to my flip-through.

I started working on my binder last year and I’m finally using it in 2023.

My binder has the following categories:

I have a separate binder for homeschooling, as I feel the is a lot of planning that takes place In our homeschooling.

Here’s a list of supplies I used to put my binder together:

Home Binder Cover

I decided to do something simple with my cover; I have two options that I can switch from.

Inspiration

The first section in my binder is an inspiration. I downloaded free Christian coloring pages from Godsfingerprints.co I also added Bible Promises and Motivational quotes.

Goal Setting Printable

Most of my categories have this printable, I decided to separate my personal goals from my family and homeschooling goals, and I find that this makes it easy for me to track my goals than when they’re all in one place. I added an action planner for my goals because simply writing them out is not enough to help me achieve my goal, having a plan and a strategy really helps.

Trackers

My favorite section on my binder is my tracker. I love trackers because they help me establish routines that make it easy for me to achieve my biggest goals. My days are mostly made up of routines, habits, etc., so keeping track of them can be so fulfilling. One of my goals for this year is to sleep 8 hours

Planners

I have a monthly, weekly, and daily planner plus a gratitude journal. These sections help me set precise goals for each month, week, and day. I want to change how I use my time; I want to be more productive with my time, so I use the planners to block my time for a specific tasks. This helps me stay organized.

Finance

“Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a great ship.”

Benjamin Franklin

I decided to not just have a monthly budget but a Savings plan, financial goals, income, and debt tracker that will help me manage even the little expenses.

Meal Planning

My other favorite section, I have a weekly planner, inventories, and shopping lists, I also added recipe cards to save some of my favorite recipes that I come up with.

Household

In this section, I focused on cleaning and I got a great printable from Aprettylifeinthesuburbs I love it and I’m sure you will too. It is color-coordinated according to the days of the week, so easy to use.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a system that can simplify your life by offering a single spot for all of your key information, plans, etc, then a home binder is for you. This system works and it’s currently keeping me sane and organized.
