This mother’s day Xiaomi gifted me with some great #MomMisday gifts to remind me to prioritize myself and reward myself. So often we continue on this motherhood journey doing things for everyone else except for ourselves. My new favorite devices to date.
Who is Xiaomi?
Xiaomi is an electronics company that makes and invests in smartphones, mobile apps, laptops, home appliances, bags, shoes, consumer electronics, and many other products.
My thoughts on the Xiaomi Smart Band 5
As a momtrepreneur, I am always in search of apps or devices that will make my life less stressful and this smart band 5 is everything I needed right now. These are some of my favorite features:
- I use my smart band to take pictures on my phone with just a tab, how cool is that.
- It gives me the ability to mirror my phone screen on the band, this is great for displaying maps.
- I receive and accept calls from my band.
- I am able to receive notifications, messages, etc.
- There’s an idle alert feature on it. Idleness is not bliss.
- It can track my periods…what, wow. This is not just a workout band, it does much more.
This band is a game-changer, it has made my daily habits so trackable. I now can track what makes me tired, how I can I be more healthy and fit. For it to work you will need to download the Mi Fit app and pair it with the device and from there, you just enjoy it.

Mi Wireless Buds
Every start of a new day, I like to listen to a podcast that helps set the tone for the day. Some days, it has been challenging for me to fully catch on to what is said on the podcast with two littles pulling chairs, calling mommy, mommy every 2 seconds. But, since having the Xiaomi Mi Wireless Buds, I’ve been having so much fun. I can’t believe how much stuff I have been missing out on, now, I am enjoying a full track of music or podcast with not much disturbance.

Xiaomi Smart TV Stick
For a mom/family that doesn’t watch much TV, this portable stick has won our hearts. It’s the perfect gift I didn’t know I needed. I just plug it in and convert any TV to a smart TV. This portable stick is an excellent choice for those who would like to know more about their TV.

Performance:

My Least favourite thing about it, is that it does not have a self-powered battery, you always have to power it with the included adapter for it to work.
